Heard about the recent death of a teen triathlete, which a "super-athelete" wrote her response to in this article. (Scroll down to read the article "The Mind of a Triathlete")
Certainly thought-provoking, in a sense that it's so true we never know what our limits are, being blinded by the desire to reach our goals, that when tell-tale signs show, we ignore them thinking that recognising such signs would be equivalent to admitting defeat.
Until the limits are crossed unwittingly, and when they are, either something lousy can happen or we could be immensely rewarded.
It's unfortunate this guy din make it, but the article also made me feel morbidly inspired nonetheless.
